Does anyone have a link to Steve Youngs reaction

I heard it on ESPN...they asked him what his overall reaction was and he said he thought it was a bullseye. He felt all Niner fans would be stoked...but the most important thing he said was that Bill Walsh told him Jim Harbaugh would be the next great Niner coach. That stoked me more than anything...that's coming from the master himself. Wow...you just can't top that.

Wow this is as close as a Walsh reincarnation as we'll ever get. This has been in the works for years.

Bill just had a way of answering question in a precise and measured fashion. He didn't embellish things but didn't undercut them either. He was also very well spoken. Though he didn't use his hands very much, when he did it was for particular emphasis on points he was passionate about.Originally posted by CorvaNinerFan:

As I watched the Harbaugh presser this afternoon, there were a number of times that the way Harbaugh expressed himself and the body language were just eerily reminiscent of Bill Walsh. It was just plain spooky at times.
I recall reading recently how Harbaugh would spend hours in Walsh's office at Stanford, sometimes just listening to him speak to others. It's obvious all that time has had an impact on the student. So for a guy who has Bill Walsh's picture on his computer desktop to act and sound like the master should not be too much of a surprise.
In reflection, if we had fully realized how great an impact Walsh had on this man's development as a coach, we would not have been so crazy waiting for the news of his decision. It was a stacked deck all along.

Bill Walsh said nothing of Harbaugh being the coach of the 49ers. He said he would be a great coach, not the next great 49ER coach. People are misquoting.

Still, if Walsh thought Harbaugh would make a great coach, I'm glad to have him.

I've checked every where for the video, I can't find it. It's likely that it'll be posted tomorrow, if it goes up at all. I'll link it if I find it.

this isn't his reaction, but this is Steve Youngs speculation and discussion of Harbaugh pre-hire.
he sounds pretty enthusiastic about it.
if Steve Young likes, I love.
