yeah, that is the question. the next couple of days are huge for this franchise. but it is very likely that even if we don't land Harbaugh or Gruden or whoever (the "sexy hires") we should at least have a chance to get Fisher or someone like that--a solid coach with experience and the ability to actually put together a plan and a staff and to utilize a roster. Unless Jed totally f**ks it up, it will be very easy to improve the Head Coach position.

I guess what I'm saying is that even if we don't hire a guy who turns us into a powerhouse, we should have no trouble at least hiring a guy who will help us stop being a complete laughingstock, and the HC position will no longer be a major liability.

I was living scared under Singletary also... scared that Singletary might say "I need to look at the film" one more time.

That explains a lot. It confirms some suspicions as well. Think back at the season, and how playing time for developing players was allotted, or how players were moved in and out os starting rolls. Guys like Boone, Mays, Ziggy, and Hill got screwed while others, like Anthony Davis and Chilo Rachel saw more plating time than they deserved.

f**king good riddance Sing, I never liked you, not as a player, and certainly not as a coach!

That's right, I hated Sing as a player, he was too good and he wasn't a NINER!
