Thanks for the news flash.

Wow. Did someone poop in your corn flakes?

We need an experienced Front Office.

There are many people saying we don't.

His post was fine.

Now be nice.

They may have won the 2010 division .. which I will congratulate them on ... but it won't be difficult at all to jump them in the division next year assuming we get a somewhat competent head coach.
why are u so sure that carroll and co. wont improve the hawks til the next season?
One thing I'll give Seattle is that Pete Carroll brought a lot of enthusiasm to that team. There may be better head coaches around, but he inspired that team to overachieve, so hats off to him for that.

Balmer is a bust plain and simple. Glad he's no longer here.

Michael Robinson is a good special teamer but players like him are often victims of the 53-man roster limit.

Balmer is starting and played well in Seattle this year. He's no bust.
Pete Carroll is also a 49er cast-off
It's difficult to blame players when the coaching and front office has been so bad. That is why many of us do not blame A Smith for the lackluster O. The sickening game management lost several games and then it was duck and cover as Singletary looked for people to blame. Whenever he accepted blame it sounded like a noble gesture he took upon himself, knowing that he was not really to blame. I believe the team would have had a winning record if he had been banned from attending the games. The players would have done a better job.

Seattle has a coach who actually thinks about what is happening on the field with an eye toward adjustments. What a concept! The 9ers played well considering the other teams knew exactly what they were going to run.

Seattle won the division. This, after so many here totally ripped them for "stealing" our dump off players/coaches/front office personnel.

Not that those people had a huge impact on why they won. (Which was inherently by default, SOMEONE had to win the division, and we blew it last week.)

But, for the record, they took our cast offs, and won the division.

At some point we need to recognize that having the right coaching/front office people makes a big difference. Our "castoffs" in the RIGHT roles, helped them succeed.

And with a bunch of the same or equally bad, players, the Seachickens won the division at 7-9.

And we couldn't even go .500 to beat that.

Just sayin'

They "took" 2 castoffs, who weren't major contributors at all. Both were injured for a good part of the season and neither was a major contributor.

You and this thread:

i am so tired of the bu#@$#@s**t. The players are popping off on how they should have made the playoffs and not the shehawks. What a crock. YOU DIDNT DESEREVE SQUAT. I mean come on vernon. You coulnt even beat a no win team called the carolina panthers. That alone makes this team deserving of no playoffs. You couldnt even beat the rams 2 weeks ago. But go ahead jeb and say that if tomsula was coach earlier they would surely would have made the playoffs. r u kidding me? This bafoon talks out his piehole way too much. HEy jeb. get a qb, a passrusher, receiver other than overrrated crabtree and alligator hands morgan, and some dbs then pop off.
im sick of all the excuses.

Ya, Ya, Ya, the Hawks won the worst division in the league. They might be the worst playoff team EVER. Congrats to the Hawks, they are now the answer to a trivia question. This season was garbage from the start. This failure is 100% Mike Singletary's fault. Not Jimmy Raye, Not Manusky, Not Alex Smith, Not Nate Clements, NOBODY else. This failure of a season rests solely on Sings shoulders. His "offensive vision" doomed this team from the very day Martz was fired.

AND GUESS WHAT? It will NOT get any better next season the way it's looking. The team has only 1 QB signed for next season, David (the sticks fav) Carr. The team will more than likely have a whole new system to learn on Offense and Defense AND a rookie QB!

This isn't going to be popular, but Alex should be resigned IF the Niners cannot find another vet QB. This includes the "other" Smith. The Niners are as good as done if they go into the season with a rookie and David mutha f**king Carr at QB.

And no, I didn't forget about Nate Davis, I just don't have ANY faith in him. Guess what? Judging by the way he sat on the practice squad all year, Nobody else in the league has any faith in him either.

THIS I guess Tim Couch is no bust since he started and "played well" enough to get the browns to the playoffs in 2002

No, Tim Couch is no bust because his problems were injury-related and out of his control. Oh ya, and being drafted by Cleavland (an expansion team).
