hopefully he can have the Randy Wynn effect. As soon as the SF Giants got ride of him they made the playoffs and won the world series. Like TKO he had never been to the playoffs, the team he went to STL Cards missed the playoffs for the first time in several years.

Get rid of the jinx!

the yorks wont sell

This is telling me that Baalke will be GM for sure, why else would he have the impression that he would be gone?

Sounds to me like he wants to play for someone that is a contender.

But we will be a contender in 2011 no?

We had a gameplan but you just couldn't execute. We'll look at the gameplan and go from there.

Some of the dumbest comments I have seen.
I think TKO is replaceable.

Fine. Trade Willis to the Panthers for the Luck pick. It's THAT important.

i would commit a 9/11 on our FO it that would happen
Guys this is the NFL....I love Spikes the player and I know his family personally(went to college with his sister) but Spikes is going to be 35 yrs old....Players don't last forever and it's usually better to let a player go to early rather than to late.

Bill Walsh was great at that...and it allowed him to continue to develop young talent. We don't even know what system were going to be running and the reality is we have bigger needs on D(CB, OLB & NT). He really was a great player and I wish him well if we don't resign him(hopefully he goes to a contender because he's never been to the playoffs) but tough decisions must be made every season and this may be one of them.

Just food for thought.

Just food for thought.
