This post has nothing to do with in-house hires, but information. Sorry. Does anyone else see a problem with so much information floating around in Baalke already has the job in the bag? Or the fact that sources already covet that Harbaugh is a shoe-in if Baalke gets the job and that according to NBC, Baalke is going to Florida to talk to Parcells to see how he can lure Harbaugh. That's not very stealthy. Or the fact that we all already know what's up with the 49ers every move before they announce it. I remember when a certain coach talked about a "rat," and how this "yahoo," needs to show his face. I think there is some merit to this. I think after all is said and done regarding the new GM and Coach hires, we really, really need to tell Jed, to shut some doors in how the media gets information because it makes our team, or organization look like a bunch of gossip gals and rumor mill whores. Honestly, I think its sad that so much info is out there. I know this is the information age, but this is ridiculous.

You're all over the place with this post. Stay on the topic you're trying to make.

They didn't go inhouse with Erickson or Nolan. Erickson wasn't inexperienced. When he didn't work, they went with somebody new. When that didn't work, they went inhouse to try and keep the flow that everybody thought was close. It's a logical path to follow, if you aren't a bias hater on the WZ, that is.

Scot M. - when promoted.
Sing - interim and then HC.
Baalke - maybe. We will see.

Looks like a lot of recent IN HOUSE to me...

I like the team. And wish it would be better. I just don't think they can get better under the current ownership and senior management. The front office is a mess. The last thing they need is a JED YES MAN. That won't get it done.
