I think the firing of Sing was seen from so far away that so many of our future plans had been discussed by the media and the organization for months and now they're all coming out.
But seriously it's not like any of this news is surprising so how hard is it to report that Baalke, a good NFL mind who many though would be the GM anyway is going to be our GM? Its been talked about for months.
Also Harbaugh's name has been around the 49ers since we went 0-5 so all these reports arent really new, its just happening now.

Very true, its not like none of this is surprising at all, but there is just a stink that goes along with how the niners report their news. If I may, I can put blame on Jed for this, but the way he weaves information, makes him sound like a hypocrite sometimes.

It's more about keeping your cards close to your chest when needed and having a competitive advantage of not having people leak out information is all I'm saying.

Same reason people inbreed? It's easy and you know what you're going to get.

What's up with these useless threads that could be posted in the "GM Thread"?

Honestly, I don't even think you're a fan of the 49ers. All you do is whine and b***h and moan all day everyday about how much you hate the Yorks.
Its getting reallllllly old.

Have they not had a general pattern of keeping things in house? Sure you can find one or a few not. But mostly it has been...
~ In house
~ Inexperienced
~ Cheap
That's what the record shows. You can't deny it.

You're all over the place with this post. Stay on the topic you're trying to make.
They didn't go inhouse with Erickson or Nolan. Erickson wasn't inexperienced. When he didn't work, they went with somebody new. When that didn't work, they went inhouse to try and keep the flow that everybody thought was close. It's a logical path to follow, if you aren't a bias hater on the WZ, that is.
