I think were best off in a 4-3. I'm torn because last year our defense was good then this year they wet the bed. were really bad in our secondary. bad. that's what hurts us.
maybe he just really doesn't have much to work with, which is obvious. Maybe it's time for a new d coach.

If Manusky leaves, that'd open DC for Tomsula...I think he'd do a better job. Of course, depending on who becomes head coach, he may bring in his own coordinator.

The NFL is a passing league and we suck for years against the pass.
We can't stop a screen, we can't rush the passer effectivley ( kudos to J.Smith for providing at least some passrush), we get buned on double moves, tirck plays, on the deep pass, on crossing rounds, on "must stop" situations (crucial 3rd and 4th downs).
His defence got figuered out by OCs, it's time to let him go.

I say we clean house and do this the right way!! As much as Greg Manusky and his defense played well during some games his pass defense sucked and cost us at least 3 games.

Are You Serious? If you get some guys that can rush the passer consistently then the secondary doesnt have to cover as long.

I wish Manusky gets Carolina's job. He is good guy and did some very nice things for us. Plus, I think as far as cheap HC candidates go, he is among the best.

Our secondary actually sucks b/c of the front 7...all run stoppers and zero pressure = an exposed secondary in a passing NFL.
Time for a coach who gets it!
