49ers = Fish Out of Water

so sad but so true...we are flapping around suffocating on our own ineptitude...pin it on the yorks, pin it on sing, pin it on alex, blame whoever you freakin want...this franchise, lemme reiterate, THIS FRANCHISE is the laughing stock in all of the league...i dont care what our record is and who's is worse....i can honestly say that i'm embarrassed by this team...

lets look at what has gone down during the 2010 season (offseason included)

1) named alex the starter for 2010 in january
2)signed david carr in march
3) traded S.Hill for essentially nothing
4) scot mcloughan is run out of town....lands in seattle...WHAT DO YOU KNOW!!?!?!?
5) glen coffee retires to pursue ministry, then gets busted on gun charges
6)former 1st rnd pick Balmer traded to division rival for nothing
7)cut ST Captain Michael Robinson and WR Brandon Jones... both land in seattle
8)blowout loss week one vs SEA
9) take a safety on our first passing down week 2 (D.Bass errant snap)
10) blowout loss week 3
11) jimmy raye fired
12)up 14-0 in the 1st 10 minutes week 4 vs ATL ...never scored again
13) turned the ball over five times vs PHI... we only lost by 3 points
(heated exchange between Sing and alex on national primetime TV)
14)Michael Lewis demands release after playing time is reduced
15)T.Mays named starting SS
16)S CJ Spillman aquired off waivers
17)finally get our 1st win week 6 vs OAK (jed's tweetin that we will still win the DIV)
18)missed block seperates alex's shoulder/lose to winless CAR
19)a prayer from troy to delanie gets us back in the game in London
(even though we won this game we never should've given up a home game)
20)allowed S.Bradford to drive the rams down inside the 10 yd line for a game tying
FG as time expired (we were fortunate not to have given up a TD)
21)J.Nedney gets hurt
22)sign K S. Andrus (J.Reed was available at the time)
23)4th down on the TB 30something and we punt down either 7-0 or 14-0, i cant

i dont disagree with that statement, i like what i've seen from him, but it is a move that would've never taken place along with R.Smith being named a starter if M.Lewis' playing time wasnt reduced to get T.Mays playing time, only to bench T.Mays a few games later

This season has been very embarrassing but regardless, as fans we will still watch and support every game in HOPES that SOMETHING will change. Well, after all that has gone on, it's just been "one of those years" and now we are playing for a playoff game in San Fran.

So as bad as we have been, Thank God the rest of the division have been OVERACHIEVING but still AS BAD as us. Now, hopefully we are "catching fire" (if you wanna call it that ) at the right time while the rest of the overachievers come back down to reality
