Oh and before I hear any BS about "real fans" i got Niners ink after 3 wins in a season and a half. They dont come much more diehard than me, I just think gaining this record of winning the division @7-9 will only make the climb to respectability all that much more difficult.

Sadly it would be called the "49er Rule" forever, when it should be the "NFC West Rule".

I rather be the team that went 7-9 and made the playoffs than be the team that " couldnt overtake the team that won the division with a 7-9 record"
