The only way Singletary can be a successful HC for us is if...

He hires both deffensive/offensive coordinator's that can take complete control of the X's & O's, this means no understudy's (proven coordinator's only) and he will need to make sure they don't leave to become head coaches.

Which would lead me to think, what would Sing be doing?

Can you imagine Ried/Bilichiek (sp) not understanding the game plan or the scheme? This whole Singletary/Nolan deficient offensive head coaching is crazy. Has this style ever worked anywhere else?

Imagine being Mike Johnson, you have no one that can answer questions or provide input from your position upwards!

I just find it hard to see a scenario where Sing is a succesful Head Coach of the San Francisco 49ers next year!

Sing has been good for motivational speaking, and thats it. he doesnt call the offense, the defense, and he cant manage the clock to save his life. what are we paying him to do? give motivational speeches in the locker room?

Why would anyone (except maybe Dead Dork) think he could be successful at all? What he needs is to be GONE!

You really need a HC that knows both offense and defense. If I had to pick a HC that knew more of one or the other I'd pick offense.

The whole "Defense Wins Championships" is overrated. I'd take a great offense and average defense any day than a great defense and average offense. Here's why... b/c the offense has the ball and therefore can control the clock and pace of the game.

Singletary doesn't seem to understand the offensive side of the ball to me b/c of the whole run the ball philosophy. If Bill Belichick was coaching this team we'd be running away with the divison. We have a solid team. But we have way too much talent in skill positions to be this sorry on offense.

I think it's hilarious that our Offense looks the best in hurry-up mode, yet we never go to it because it doesn't give the D enough rest. That's the mentality Singletary has.

If he needs all that, then he shouldn't be a HC. This has been my biggest beef with him since the Yorks hired him: exactly what does he do? He doesn't know a lick of how to gameplan, make adjustments, or hell, even use timeouts properly. Everyone used to say, "Oh, he's learning, give him time." I'm sorry, but you can't learn X's and O's on the go, and take that combined with his stupidity, and well, you get possibly one of the worst HC's ever.

Even if you got him the best coordinaters, what happens when they leave? Then again, no decent coordinator would want to work with Sing since he handcuffs them even if he knows absolutely nothing about how to do their jobs.

How many different threads are people going to start to complain/say Singletary sucks? Sheesh.

Whats the point of having him as HC then?? The HC needs to be the expert who has the experience to overlook and correct anything that goes wrong within the team.
