This time around there is really no point in firing Sing before the seasons finished. As Maiocco pointed out, any coach on the staff that the Niners might consider as an interim guy might be someone they want to keep on staff after the new coach is hired (Like Manusky, Solari, Tomsula, Rathman).

If someone is named the interim guy, he is typically the first guy fired after the season.

There is zero benefit to firing Sing before the season is out. Just be patient. The Samurai is just about done.

The more opportunities for other coaches that arise in other, better, organizations, and money.... are the reasons sing should be gone. We need to sign someone else up sooner than later. So your opinion is misguided at best.

They are not going to not fire the coach because ONE GUY may not be available. There are more options than Jon Gruden.

P.S. The reason they may not fire Sing is the CBA. If there is no season next year, or a shortened season, why fire a guy, pay him not to work (he's going to get paid anyways) only to hire another guy and pay him not to work at the same time. If there is no progress on this CBA issue soon Sing may very well be the HC in 2011.

p.s. try posting once, then editing it, as to not make yourself look like a big jackass in the process of trying to make someone else look like a big jackass
