The more stupid the pass, the better chance the defender gets it clean and takes it to the house.

Explain the fumble play in Philly. That wasn't the first time he pulled that kinda nonsense.

Dude has like 12 turnovers this year in 7 games.

Alex's passer rating in the red zone was very good from what I remember.

Sometimes you gotta throw the ball up and give your guys a shot. If you put the ball in a good spot you will have a better chance. Remember all the TDs that got called back against the Rams? Those were nice.

That was a bad play. Really bad. Alex caused that problem by moving out of the pocket when he probably didn't need to and then trying to get rid of the ball instead of taking the sack. That isn't to say he was 100% responsible for it though. The protection on that play was not there, at all, and it forced him to make that decision.

It was the same kind of play Troy just made a week ago but it was ruled a forward pass. He was lucky, Alex was not. A split second was the difference. A split second extra for Alex it it ends up being an incomplete pass that we all forgot about. A split second less for Troy and his had is not moving forward and it ends up being a fumble and a turn over.

As for the Philly game, Alex was the only reason that game was close. Even with the INT and that fumble going back for 6 they were down by three with less than two minutes to go. That was with the porous D letting Philly run all over them and Frank Gore losing two fumbles to end two promising drives and a 2.9 YPC himself.

The TDs called back against the Rams that I remember we not great throws but GREAT plays by the receivers. Specifically the TD to Davis. It was horribly under-thrown and way behind a blanketed Vernon. VD went up, backwards, and over the DB (that wasn't looking for the ball) to make that catch. He did the same thing to bail Troy out on a horribly under thrown pass this Sunday in Green Bay as well. It was almost exactly the same catch except this one wasn't in the end zone. A s**tty pass that went for a big gain because the receiver made an incredible play and the DB made no play on the ball.
