Bam I think Jed York made a call to sing saying i know your the head coach but i own this team and your going to start alex because he give us the best chance to loss out and have a higher pick worth trading for luck... Simply i think the cards may get him, hopefully the bills start sucking more.

No, we'll either win or lose pretty. It's just what he does. When he's down to his last possible thread, Alex does something to spark the love of his never dying fanbase. If he plays just decent for the next 4 games, he'll be back next year.

Won't happen. Jed can't afford to do it. Only reason alex comes back and only reason if sing leaves we trade up for luck sit luck behind alex so he can learn what not to do. But sing and alex are gone. Only way either of them stay next season would be to win out and push all the way into the superbowl as a 7-9 team. And were not the steelers!

Shows the sad state of this franchise right now. After all these years, of Alex smith , fumbling, throwing picks, balls not even close to intended targets, losses, they still think he gives us the best chance to win. Alex, 1-6 as a starter, troy 3-2. Records speak for themselves.

Because our division sucks and believe it or not, our team still has faith and they want to win. Dingleberry is a moron but he has good intentions, to make the playoffs.

its really dumb that we are bring alex back in. We know what we have with him...NOTHING!
Troy is still developing and hasn't done anything to warrant benching! We need to continue to evaluate Troy for the rest of the season, and then go get a new qb via FA or Draft.

This franchise is just a big mess first is Alex Smith then Troy Smith. What happen to Singletary like Troy Smith, because he is a leader? Guess that only works if you put the stats up and win. 49ers aren't going to draft Luck because whoever get the Number one pick will draft luck. There no package deal the Niners can give to get the Number one pick and Niners don't have any good asset besides Willis, Vernon, and Crabtree.
