Our playcalling is horrible. Why can't we give Vernon a chance to catch the ball for once?

They see it too.

See what?

Let's get on thing straight, i don't care if you're an Alex-lover or hater: IF YOU"RE NOT ON THE STADIUM YOU CANT BLAME A QB FOR NOT THROWING DOWN THE FIELD BECAUSE YOU CAN'T SEE THE ROUTES!!!

And I'm not even getting into what plays are being called, which we have no idea either.

my experience with this, in kc, showed he had guys open off-screen that he opted not to throw to because they were downfield a ways... just sayin

that effective running game got those points right?

you're right. what do schlereth and bruschi know ? we know the real secret behind alex's success

or what does Millen know explaining that on that last play everybody was covered and he had no where to throw the ball

only to be countered by Joe Theismann (you know, a SB winning QB) that Smith should have at least ATTEMPTED a shot down the middle of the field towards Vernon Davis, thus giving his team a chance on 3rd down.

Its amazing how we can tune out the things we dont want to hear......
lets get the offense going!!!!

I hate Alex, but no one is helping him on the team. No one is stepping up.

He needs to step up!

The way Chilo and Anthony are playing that might not be a good idea.

Just chuck it up Troy Smith style and see what happens.

Guys There is no way it would have been a good idea to chuck that last pass up... IT would have been the end of the game right there. Niners have to score on the first drive or it is over I think barring a miracle (scoring may be a miracle)

Millen is right. There was no one open on that last play and the last thing you want to do is just toss the ball into the secondary with nobody open.

Nope and Theisman said that Brady would have trhown ancd completed it. Alex is holding on the ball way too long and has zero feel for the game. I don't care what anyone says, Nate Davis have way more feel for the game than Alex But, this performance simply is not about Alex. This team is not that talented and I don't care who is coaching, if your players do not make plays, the team suffers.

Thrown in where? I mean, you can fault Alex for a number of things, but there wasn't anybody open.

Now isn't it strange how Rivers can throw to someone with a man on him and Smith can't even get the ball to his #1 weapon within the seam? He was open enough! Moragn had to wait on the pass that was completed. Smith is not and never will be a good QB as long as he continues to play like a meek sheep! He has no feel for the game and he is too timid to throw tha ball unless he sees a man completely open. He is no different than the other Smith in that respect.
