Yeah, that drop was a heartbreaker but we need to get past the 'stone hands' crap. He's one of the most productive TE's in the league right now and a great weapon when we actually involve him in the gameplan.

VD dropped a pass. It happens. Get over it. Move on. He catches far more than he drops.
The problem is each one of our offensive mistakes is magnified to the NTH degree because our defense allows opposing teams to score at will on us.
That Driver TD was ridiculous. Never should have happened. But it did.

where have i heard that before
It's all we have man... what choice do we have?
seriously
Either that or stop being a fan is the only option.
You can only watch those old superbowl videos (from 94, 89, 88, etc) so many times... It would be nice to see 49er wins in LIVE games.
we will win again, one day it will happen
I hope we will win once again.
A question to all you coach gurus. Why do you want Jim Harbarugh? I understand his bro is doing great with the Ravens, however, they still have a "good" defense, and there QB is looking pretty consistant. That doesn't guarentee sucess from Jim Harbaugh.
I know there isn't much out there, & a proven winner doesn't guarentee sucess, however, I think it would provide a better chance at sucess.
I can't wait to see Singleberry out, but, thinking about it last night, I can actually see how he thinks his philosopy would work. He came from the Bears, and his only "job" was with the Ravens so he thinks a great defense and an ok offense is good.

Great post first off.
Second, I noticed this weeks ago. This team has given up looooong ago IMO, and that all falls on the HC. Period. This team is 10 times worse than when Nolan was coach, with much less "talent".
If Jed had the balls, Singletary would be out of a job TODAY. His services are no longer needed.

Don't blame the players man. Bad coaching can make really good players look bad, just like great coaches can make mediocre players look pretty good.

Yes, I noticed all of that. Goldson sucks @zz. Unless the niners are able to find a QB as competitive and competant as ROOKIE Sam Bradford, we will go another 10 years or more before we see the playoffs. Arizona, Seattle, and San Francisco have no future without a franchise QB against this rookie.

I believe (and stated at the time) that Singletary lost this team weeks ago. It is only been a core of high integrity veterans, who have been holding things together. Guys like Spikes, Willis and Justin Smith on defense, Gore, Staley and Vernon Davis on offense.
But now Gore and Staley are both gone from the offensive huddle. Spikes had 17 tackles vs GB and Justin Smith brought it on every play, but even Willis was inconsistent, and Goldson flat-out stunk. And why was the very green Philip Adams playing in such critical times, where GB could match-up a veteran WR against him?
I can understand how the front 7 on defense can be worn down by a big disparity in TOP. But the DB's? C'mon, man!
