No, it is more than that. They don't run precise routes. They don't work back to the QB when the initial read breaks down. The timing of routes is not on the same clock as the QB.

On a related matter, the OL has not been able to create adequate passing lanes so a 6' QB can throw to a receiver when the receiver does get open.

Davis would start on most teams in the league. Crabtree would be a #2 on most teams, #3 on a few. None of the other receivers would make the roster on a good team.

We desperately need some speed in the WR position. Crabs is a okay number 2 but lacks the true separation speed to be great. We need to bump Morgan to back up and draft someone with some speed.

Jones is another big slow dude. AJ green I think is a little faster, but those dudes are gonna get drafted high and we have much bigger needs to draft a WR that high.

Crabtree still isn't on the same timing as the QB. On one play yesterday he was running a route toward the left sideline and Troy threw what appeared to be a catchable ball but Crabtree didn't turn his head around in time to make an attempt on the ball. He has appeared to look back too late on a number of throws this year. The pick last week was on a throw that was a bit high but should have been catchable but he looked for the ball too late to make the adjustment.

I think a lot of that is coaching. He needs to be learning precision and how to be a pro player. Right now he seems to be relying on ability alone.

WE need to draft 2 more WR's trade/cut morgan, zeigler.. etc.

get some speed out there (like the eagles)

You should have watched NFC Playbook on NFL Network this week.

They showed SEVERAL plays where Troy had wide open recivers to throw to. The problem is just that hes a young QB and he's learning. The recievers are there. It just needs to come together.

we've just been drafting people trying to be like the cards, larry fitz and boldin (ravens).

Jayson hill had speed, but because he wasn't vocal all the time and super cocky...he wasn't a singletary guy....

we have got to get a speed guy, someone better than Ginn that can actually catch a football....
