Go, Niners, go!
This 49er fan actually rooting for Seahags. I don't want alex back or Dingleberry. I want no chance that front office can say well he won the last 4 games. Let's bring him back. A loss assures that never happens..

Hmmmm....

A game that we have to win against the Seahawks to keep our playoff hopes alive....

Sounds familiar...

...and so does the ultimate result...we will lose.
Seattle does not travel well. Playing on the road is something that this team had been bad at all year long. They beat Chicago and Arizona on the road and that is it. The things that work in their favor from a strictly Seahawks standpoint are:

That Colin Cole will finally be back. Our run defense has suffered greatly with him out.

The run game finally got going last week. Lynch had three running TDs and even with a couple of them being very close to the endzone that is still a big deal for the Hawks. They have been terrible in short yardage downs this year.

The o-line is playing for the second straight week with the same starting 5! First time that has happened all year.

The emergence of Cammeron Morrah has been huge. He has proved that he can step up and make plays that the other TEs on the team this year have failed to prove the ability to make.

Things that are not working in our favor:

Not sure what the status is of both Mike Williams and Ben Obamanu. Both have played solid for the Hawks this year and Williams in particular has developed a real comfort level with Matt.

Hass has two broken bones in his left wrist. This has not proven to be a problem yet, but I imagine that he can't continue to be that lucky. He is literally one subtle tap away from being out of the game. Not necessarily one hit.

Those are my two main worries. Again, this post is strictly talking about the Seahawks side of things.

Every niner fan should be looking forward to seeing Alex in a spread style Offense without Gore as the focal point. It's what he was drafted as, and it's what the organization has neglected since day 1. If he starts playing well in that style of Offense, it could mean great things. If not, like JoeCool said, at least we'll know for sure that we have no more question marks.
id rather lose, blow this s**t up, fire asses. rather than win and get keep this false hope alive.
