It might be for the best if we also clean out the front office and coaching staff. Of course t won't matter if we don't get a football knowledgeable front office and a good Head coach.
If he or any other player who is under contract jumps ship after this
year they will not be allowed to play for another team.
He is under contract through 2012, as has been said several times in this thread.
Reality, people.

What needs to stop is the whining about threads that contain reality. Bad projection or not, it's something that may happen. Not discussing it isn't going to prevent it.

How is it going to happen? There is no reality in this thread. Explain to me how a player who is under contract can, in a fit of sulks, leave and play for another team.

What needs to stop are the treads that contain more negative energy. Good projection or not, it's something that wont happen. Discussing it won't make it real.

I hope so. I pray he does.
~ Sick of his fumbles...
~ Hype about production that never materializes.
He has 3 career fumbles, with one of them lost last year and one lost this year. Our 2 best offensive players have more. vernon davis has 4 career fumbles 3 lost, frank gore has 22 career fumbles 15 lost. Alex smith has 20 something as well.
You can blame dumbass fans for hyping walker. As well as for just about every other player on our team at some point.
Maybe walker dosent belong on our team, i dont know im not a coach. But your argument is baseless and unoriginal. Do a little research first and you will avoid embarassment in the future.
Per times touching the ball he fumbles a lot. And fumbles are fumbles whether you lose them or not. Just because you get lucky and it bounces to your team doesn't make it a great play by Delanie. And no harm no foul. It's still a bad play. He doesn't touch the ball nearly as much as the 2 you mentioned so the comparison is not valid.
Do some research.
im sorry are you honestly telling me one fumble a year is too many?
The reason i included fumbles lost is because the turnover is the part that really kills the team. Which player would you consider more of a detriment to the team: Player A: 15 career fumbles 3 lost or Player B: 10 career fumbles 7 lost?
Fumbling the ball is a sign of poor technique whether its lost or not, but to say fumbles lost is irrelevant is naive.

Yes. Particularly, if VD is our 49er poster child & team captain. Absolutely fed up with all his "greatness". The dude is not reliable, lacks consistency, and he's a diva. Did he really try to catch that pass with his elbows? Can anyone say pop warner?
And to those who will inevitably say he's a great leader, I say 4-7.
Delanie has more "upside" that VD, imo; and Byham is our best blocking TE, bar none. Maybe we can still trade VD while he still has marginal value? But, then there's the contract "issue."

Delanie's a baller. On a good offensive team, he'd be a top TE. He's just wasting away here.

LMAO. The guy goes for 120 and has the only big play TD in our game and people respond like this. Stop watching football, please.
