Didn't he recently resign a contract extension?

This question reveals yet another reason why Jed must hire an offensive-minded coach as soon as possible after the season ends. He must send a message quickly to players like Walker that there is a new sheriff in town and he loves offense. If he delays guys like Walker will bail for a better team.

It baffles me why we aren't running more two tight ends sets. Having two big guys with the speed of Vernon and Delanie create serious match up problems for a defense. I think Dingletary goes out of his way to make our offense something no one fears.

He is signed through 2012 so signing with another team would be unwise of him.
So, no. End thread.

If Bozo the Singletary is still coach - Walker will flee SF.
If we can get an offensive minded coach who has a 21st century mindset - he may stay.
