Young, Wusweel ad Natral, just save your breath. Your careers as schoolyard bullies ended when you were kicked out of school. It doesn't work here ... just move on.

Getting tired of Alex Smith comments, then please indulge me this:
I looked at Alex playing against NO, PHIL, and OAK, which are the 2nd, 13th, and 4th ranked teams in pass defense this year, respectively. Alex's average non-weighted QB rating against these teams is 87.4. There are 27 QBs who have also played against these three teams this year, and their non-weighted QB ratings average 78.7.
Therefore, it shows that despite the handicaps of dealing with Sing, OC, OL and receiver issues, Alex still averaged playing better against these teams that are tough to pass against than the other QBs who played them this year.
This is why I contend that Alex is not trash; he can be a very decent QB if he played on a team that supported him to the degree that most of the other good QBs in this league enjoy.
yah............right...............
hhaha yeah he'd be better if he were on a better team. thats Rich...

That's a personal insult calling me wusweel. You should get a nice warning for that.
That kind of behavior is completely uncalled for.

I'm afraid you're right. I really like the guy. He's just as mean, every bit the teamplayer as, and is as good a blocker (upfield and at the line) as John Taylor, he even has the "hard" soft hands that Taylor had, but he's a couple steps too slow. It's a damned shame: right mind, wrong body.
Quite the contrast to Mr. Ginn, a guy that should stay because he can--if nothing else, and that's a very big nothing--hang onto the ball on kicks and punts. The NFL is brutal.

Gee, it looks like my finger missed a key. You are always so kind and courteous, especially gracious toward your favorite player, Alex. It would be terribly uncalled for to insult you, even if it were inadvertant.

I agree except we should keep Goldson and drop Ginn (keep as a returner maybe but not as a WR). Others like Franklin, Parys, Lawson are based on money.
Absolute #1 priority being to cut A.Smith and Carr. Need to move on.

Parys Haralson
Chilo Rachal
Josh Morgan

Troy Smith (hoping he remains)Nate Davis
Frank Gore- hopefully he is extended.
Anthony Dixon- needs to see the field more. RB is one of the positions where a player can come in a make immediate imapct. I don't understand not playing rookie RBs.
Josh Morgan- I like him. He just isn't a starter.
Michael Crabtree
Vernon Davis
Delanie Walker
Staley
Lupati
Baas
Davis
Snyder
Boone- Why hasn't he received any PT?
Sims
Zeigler
Williams
Byham- Moran Norris' replacement?
Sopoaga- How would he fair as a 4-3 DT?
McDonald- Needs to be extended
Franklin- See Sopoaga
Francois- See Sopoaga
Justin Smith
Manny Lawson- extended
Ahmad Brooks
Spikes
Bowman- should've been eased into action and not thrown in.
Willis- OLB in a 4-3?
Spencer
Clements- has to have that contract redone
Mays- Should've been eased in. Critics and fans alike have said he wasn't ready since he was at SC.
Reggie Smith
Tarrell Brown
Parys Haralson- 4-3 DE?

The W & S are close on the keyboard, but I think only the OJ jury would let you believe it was an accident.

We are getting a new Head Coach and possibly a new GM this off season.
There may be some 'keepers' who end up being traded and others who are released or allowed to walk because they don't fit into the new Offense, Defense or future plans of the GM or Coach.
Barring trades, I see these guys as locks for next years squad:
Willis
Iupati
Crabtree
Andy Lee
Justin Smith
Anthony Davis
Vernon Davis
Gore
Staley
Brian Jennings
Mays - Excellent special teams guy with top level potential at Safety
Athony Dixon - Excellent special teams guy with top level potential at RB
Kyle Williams - PR/KR guy next year with potential at WR
Nate Byham - Value and potential at TE/H-Back
