WERE the problem. not the QB. Rodgers and Smith both wouldve failed here. this organization is a mess, and hasnt given a QB a chance to succeed since Jeff Garcia. getting depressed over not picking Rodgers is a waste of time. It wouldnt have mattered.
I get depressed when we play GB because we always lose, and it brings back bad playoff memories. especially the 1997 NFC Championship game in the mud and rain, when Young got knocked out and Elvis Grbac had to finish out the final game of our season.

Actually yes, every time I see Rodgers play I tell myself he should be our QB. But this has also been discussed at great length on this site, if Aaron Rodgers comes here under NOT mentoring under Favre, NOT getting thrown to the wolves as a rookie, NOT having premier weapons around him when he takes the field as a starter, blah blah blah. Bottom line, yeah it sounds good to b***h that we should have taken Rodgers, the reality is it's likely we'd be no better off today if we did.

No cuz i never wanted Rodgers or Alex actually. I wanted us to draft Braylon Edwards and then suck again for year and draft Leinart

He woulda sucked here just like Alex. Anybody who says otherwise knows they're wrong, but just won't admit it.
I get depressed when we play Green Bay because it always means we're gonna lose.

i used to back in the 90's, but once we beat em last second in '98, the depression kinda faded til this year...and in this decade, expectations, for the most part, have been minimal at best. this year, being such a disaster, i have no expectations going into green bay...the depression set in once we got blown out by a supposed inferior seahawks team...if it wasnt for the Giants carrying me into november and then winning the series, i'd be a total wreck right now...i cant imagine having that sick feeling in my stomach if the giants hadnt won it, coupled with the feelings from how bad things have gone for our Niners.

This moment sticks out in my mind so bad. This was the moment I became a diehard and emotionally connected to the niners. Since then I hated GB and "the devil"

C'mon people, the 9ers stand a chance in this game. Just look at how they played both NO and ATL. Sure we can get spanked like we did vs. KC, SEA, & NO but this team is capable of winning. You just never know.
