Hold on. You can hate the Yorks. That's fine. It's your opinion and you're entitled to it.

But even if you don't the like the acquisitions... the Yorks spend MILLIONS of cash to bring in the likes of Justin Smith, Clements, re-sign Davis, Wills and so on. People let their blind hate get in the way of reality.

To act like everything they've ever done has made the team worse is ludicrous. It's just not logical thinking. Or anything based in reality. It's highly emotional. Thus, unsustainable. Especially if you're trying to lead a bunch of fickle people like the ones that hate on ownership of any team. Win a couple playoff games and they scatter like roaches. The people you're trying to lead are largely spineless, faceless cowards who only come out when things are bad. Because, you know, their input is oh so valuable. When you're trying to lead, as you were, always keep in mind who your audience actually is.

The people you were trying to lead are the very same people who booed Alex Smith today for two incompletions that were perfectly acceptable...and then proceed to cheer when he plays exceedingly well 15 minutes later. Its the same people on this very board that say "Alex sucks", "Fire Singletary NOW", "Lose out so we can draft better", "I wish Alex would get hurt", and my personal favorite "Oh god Anthony Davis is a bust!". Yet, they clam up and don't make a peep when we dominate a division rival. They're cowards, drama queens and emotional...every single one of them. Every single one.

I took a chance as a passionate fan, it didn't sit well with fans, and the team had their best performance of the year. I was wrong, but it feels good to be wrong because that meant that our team had a strong showing.

But remember my goal was never to bet up the team, but to send a message about York how the structure of the team needs drastic change.
