You don't need to prove anything, which is why you jumped on the internet and made this thread.

No. It makes you sound psychotic though. I might not be happy that the 49ers lost, but I'm not getting my blood pressure up or puking over a sporting event. I simply drive home and get along with the rest of my day like a normal human.

If your blood pressure isn't 160 or higher after losses you aren't a true fan.

I don't blame you. I pretty much stopped watching after the end of 3rd quarter. I started watching real football on CBS (Pats vs. Indy).

I wouldn't have left at half because the game was 7-0...but yea, I don't blame you. I'm just glad we are back in the hunt for top 3 pick.
Damn, bro. You must have jet right after I saw you. LOL We left once Ronde grabbed that pick (4th quarter). I would say that a majority of the crowd made the mass exodus around that point in time.

It was kinda cool to leave Candlestick and get home at a decent time for once.

I went to the local bar here (NJ) to watch the early games. Didn't even drink any alcohol (Sat night recovery). Watched the first half of the 49ers game and was so bored and fed up I left at halftime and went home. This team doesn't interest me anymore like they used to. Not a priority to watch their games anymore this year. Sad to say it but the thrill is gone. Its not even fun anymore.

100% agree. For me, even the excitement of Troy, though short lived, is over to me too... He was exposed, or maybe it was the game plan that was exposed. I don't know, I'll have to look at the film.

Haha. I love it. "I'll have to look at the film."

I stayed at every game I have ever been to, including the Wildcard comeback game against the Giants. Never even THOUGHT, or CONSIDERED leaving a game at halftime until yesterday. Sometimes we'll leave in the middle of the 4th Quarter if we're getting smashed to beat traffic... but yesterday, me and 3 of my cousins were all in agreement that there was no point in staying to watch that sorry excuse of a game.

I love my team, and I have season tickets, but to me, after a showing like yesterday, not having fun, enjoying the experience, there was literally no reason to stay. I mean it was one of the worst games I have ever been to, and I just wanted to get the f**k outta the stick... Call me what u will, "Not a real fan" "Fairweather Fan", "Unfaithful Fan" etc... it's fine, that doesn't bother me. I know what I am, and I (we) as real 49er fans deserve better than this.

After I told some people we left at halftime, I heard that ALOT of people left at halftime too. Question to those watching on TV.... Did the stands look emptier after halftime?

BTW. The best part of the game were the budlight chicks that we took pics with. Gotta gettem uploaded. Pics to come!

You have every right to do what you want to do as a fan. I dont blame you. Singletary should have been fired at halftime.

Were they dressed like this?

p.s. I don't blame you for leaving, this is a heartbreaking season.
I watched all of it but during the 2 min warning I was getting ready to leave my house so not really at the end. I did feel it tho. like the team had no drive or will power. i knew at halftime we were done. heck, i think i knew at the 2nd qtr.

I hear you my brother! I know the feeling and have done that myself before even after spending all that money and time to get to the game. When the 49ers show such a pathetic display of team effort, why stick around?

My deal is that we showed so much hope and promise in the preseason and I was so pumped up for the season to start and then we get this... a 3-7 record to start the season. All that talent and ALL those first round picks and what do we have to show for it? NOTHING...that's what

I kind of agree, but it should be something without names, like, "Fire Dingleberry, we want a winner" so everyone can get involved, even the people who dont want Gruden.

some die hard fan

HUGE die hard fan actually...

Merriam-Webster would tell you otherwise.

die–hard | adj ˈdī-ˌhärd

Strongly or fanatically determined or devoted.

Walking out in disgust is definately within the realm of something someone devoted would do...especially after already paying money to be there. The dude said he has a huge fan, not "blindly loyal kool aid drinker"

Lots of consistency this year:
Consistently out coached by the other team
Consistently fail to get plays in on time
Consistently use up timeouts early
Consistently penalized for holding when we manage to score
Consistently turn over the ball
Consistently allow our QB to be hurried/hit/sacked
Consistently look at game film showing career games from opposing scrubs
Consistently call for runs up the gut no matter the down and distance
Consistently yelling at the refs
Consistently pissed off refs get payback with questionable game changing calls
Consistently allow late drives to score and result in losses

Lots of consistency there.
