More than ever, I am glad I watch from home. I get a lot done when the Niners are playing...fixing stuff around the house, laundry, etc.
None of these things seem very interesting until I watch the Niners play. Then after a bunch of 3 & outs, I get a restless feeliing like I am wasting time where I could be more productive around the house.

What?
you said you never leave and then you said that sometimes you leave

Ok well I meant I have never left early meaning leaving at halftime. Alot of people leave with a few minutes left in the 4th Quarter to beat traffic. That's all I mean, and we don't do that all the time either. 90% of the time, we're there until the 00. Sorry about the confusion.... but u know what i meant... didn't u?

I know, it just didn't feel good... you know how you can just tell? We couldn't do anything on offense and couldn't stop them on defense. It was almost as if we knew there was no chance. The feel at the stick wasn't optimistic... We just weren't into it.... it was weird.
we did nothing on offense in London in the first half and won. And couldn't stop them on defense? dude it was 7-0....
And what point does a die hard fan let the "feel at the stick" impact if you stay or not.

At the point that we're 3-7 with a crappy coach and an obvious bad feeling that we're gonna get ran. Wish I could say I left, and missed an amazing come back... but that wasn't the case was it? Do u have season tickets? Hey if I left or not, Jed got his money... that's all that matters right?

I share season tickets with my uncle. And am upset Jed is thinking about raising ticket prices. Why?

I had the same feeling. The offense just looked flat. Like you KNEW they weren't going to do s**t all day.

That's exactly it... I've never been to a game where I felt all hope was lost and we were just not going to win. We really did KNOW it... just the feeling in our gut...
Going back to the NFC Wildcard Vs. the Giants, even in THAT game... getting blown out... I still had hope and was watching with excitement, waiting for the turnaround, and it came.
This was completley different. It look like the only person on the team that didn't give up was Troy Smith.
For the record we did watch the 2nd half on tv at the house... Got to my cousins in San Bruno 5 minutes into the 2nd half...

I've never left a Niner game early, not even to beat traffic, but I understand why people do. That said, I would not have left at halftime of this game. It was 7-0 and while we'd played like boring crap there was still a chance that we would wake up and play well.
I don't question your fanhood or that of anyone who left that game early, though. It was supposed to be raining and people still came out to watch a 3-6 team play a less-than-marquee opponent, and were thanked for their support by being forced to watch a gutless, unimaginative steaming pile of dog s**t. I'm glad you left because all those empty seats have to terrify Jed, and right now that's the best we can hope for.
