What grade do you give the o-line

When the defense knows what you are going to do, you have already lost.

It's all about coaching, deception, coaching, deception, coaching, deception, coaching, deception...............

That's the second time this year I've heard this regarding our offense (the first time being when we got owned by the freakin' Chiefs). It makes me sick, a once proud franchise with an innovative offense has basically become the most predictable team in the league. This rests on Singletary, as much as I wanted him to work out it appears he truly wasn't ready for the job.

when they asked Sing about this he said it was good that the defense knows what play is coming because that means all we need to do is execute to make it work.

No grade until three games after Sing is fired. So, what's holding that up York?
I gave them a D, but when you add in the high draft picks they are--maybe an F is what it should be.
Some of you need to go back and look at your posts when it was annouced that Solari and Brown were going to coach our OL. Then look at your comments after we drafted the two rookie linemen.

Feel a little foolish now?

Part of the process of growing up and maturing and gaining wisdom is to reserve judgment until enough evidence is in to make an intelligent judgment.

Just a suggestion.
Staley - B+
Iupati - C+/B-
Baas - C+
Rachal - D/F
Davis C-/D

Overall D+

Gore tipping plays has been an issue for years.

This has now been reported over numerous years, and needs to be rectified.

Most of the webzone can tell once the niners line up what play is going to be called. So of course a coaching staff that gets paid handsomely will be able to. Frank gives plays away and so do the WRs.

its about as bad as last year so still an F

we did however draft two raw oline rokies so i expect it to get better within the next year
It's essentially an F. I can't see how it can be anything else. Maybe you can argue a D?

Aside from Smith, the line has been the biggest disappointment this season. We've done almost all that we can to address the line - new coaches, new players, rookies at what we thought to be necessary positions. What else can we do? Keep playing musical chairs until some combination magically clicks?

It's really disheartening.

and conversely, another handsomely paid coaching staff like ours can hide it or teach our players how not to tip-off plays, right?
