first shutout at home since '77, hell yeah it was the worst game ever in our time!

but then again i'd take it over a heartbreaking playoff loss like in 87, 90, 92, 95, and lastly 97. those would be the worse games ever.
I was at the 70 and 72 playoff loss to the cowboys......those were to 2 worse losses ever in 49er history, this was a bad reg season loss. The team was as bad as the crowd. It was painfull.

This game was so bad on so many levels it's hard to even start, but ok, I'll try.
Starts with the O-line. Lowsy run blocking against a team vulnerable to the run. Pass blocking, or the lack thereof, that had Smith running for his life. The Bucs almost doubled their season's sack total in just this one game! If not for Troy's mobility, it could have been twice the amount! Sims being inactive for the entire season until this game , showed. he was terrible, but Davis (?), please bench him before someone gets hurt. He's looking like the even worse clone of Kwame. He's just not ready and is starting to look as if he definitely wasn't worth moving up in the draft for. He may yet develop into a good tackle, but he's a liability right now and a big one.
Even when he could set and throw, Smith was off target and made some bonehead decisions. Bad game to have a bad game.
Again, no pass rush to speak of and piss poor tackling. Willis might as well have played the game all by himself.
Do we have any DB's that know how to look for the ball?
Play calling? A bomb on 4th down of a crucial drive in the 4th quarter, when securing a 1st was far more important. That was just one of many head scratchers.
Penalties, STILL. Delays, STILL. Receivers still not on the same page as their QB, or running half-a$$ routes (Crabtree, are you listening?).
And why oh why are we throwing to Ginn with the game on the line? He still can't catch and is always looking to get out of bounds to avoid contact. good if you want to stop the clock, but you have to actually hold on to the football first. and, for all of his vaunted speed, he never really gets up enough of a head of steam to showcase it. And can ANY of our receivers actually get open? And if they are, can Troy find them?
I'm flat out drained from vacillating between sheer dumbfoundedness to frustration to rage to depression that I want to curl up in a fetal position with my blanky and shut out the world. I've lived thru some pretty bad times with the 9'ers, like the abysmal Joe Thomas years (which, by the way, are not looking so bad by comparison), but I'm older now and not so resilient. Time to clean house from the Yorks on down. I'm hoping Steve Young and his investment group make a play for the 9'ers again, and SOON!!!! This game feels like a new low!

Ratto said, in so many words, that you couldn't hear the booing because it was all coming from people in cars leaving the game.

at first I thought your sn was Chilo. I was going to tell you to get off the zone and start blocking!
