Someone created a video on Smith's first two games as a Niner and posted it on youtube. Obviously, this is the type of vid opposing defensive coordinators will review over and over. If you were the defensive coordinator of one of our upcoming opponents, how would you game plan against Smith? What does he do well? What does he not do well? How will you attack him and contain him? If I were a defensive coordinator, there are a few things I'd keep in mind: 1. Smith is mobile. Whether it's a designed play or the play breaks down, Smith can use his feet to make a play. 2. Smith has arm strength. The ball leaves his hand with zip. Not only that, he is accurate and can hit a receiver down the field while running out of the pocket. 3. Smith has vision. He can go through his progressions and find the open receiver. He can also "feel" opposing defensive players and move around in the pocket to avoid being sacked. 4. Smith is cocky. This is the first real success as a starter that Smith has experienced in the NFL. His confidence level is through the roof and the Niners', who are in desperate need for a capable qb, are falling in line behind him. Please keep in mind this is focusing solely on the qb position. MOMENTUM!!!

This kid sure knows how to keep it going!!!!

And, it's been so long since I personally witnessed a great performance like that from one of our QBs!

Unbelievable how he converted that 4th and 13 play after the 3rd and prayer play.

I can't wait to see his highlight reel grow.

You could just hear the crowd roar...then fade. Roar...then fade. Then on that 3rd down play the roar got louder. But when Troy converted that 4th down play, the stadium went berserk.

That's some sweetness right there, man. Was so happy to be a part of it!
