On Troy Smith:

1. charisma, leadership, athletic
2. struggled with accuracy when they drafted him but he appears to have improved
3. can beat you in the pocket
4. leadership can be important but all leadership stems from production

Saints aren't getting the turnovers they got last year but they are dangerous as they are getting some players back from injury.

League isn't dominated by good QB play. Teams that are winning are running the ball and playing good defense.

Absolutely open field to who becomes the elite team.

Eh, now they are getting into the CBA.

not many QBs are like that, it proves that as a young school boy he was dedicated to martial arts and being disciplined. As a fellow Karate expert this makes me proud to call Blacksmith our QB. To Infinity and Beyond

What I recall was that he said, "once a coach, always a coach." Said it would take the "right partnership." In his current job at NFLN he has been to every team in the league and watched them closely. As a result, he would be a much better coach now than he was in Baltimore.

Not interested at all in a GM job. (He used a Bill Cosby joke to illustrate his point.) All the agent work and all was not of interest.
