Iupati has been the best o-linemen this entire year. He's been just throwing people to the ground in tonight's game against the Cards.

Joe Staley is overrated imO. He hasn't done anything that stood out to me and I've heard his name plenty of times for flags.. I'd say he's above average but nowhere near pro bowl level

I agree. And if we could have an above average player at every position we would have an above average O-Line. Most teams would be okay with that. Not every player on a teams going to be elite.

I'm sure most people's opinion of him on the Webzone has died down.

Yes. He's been blocking like a beast.
Also, the articles that came out with players saying they knew where the plays were going generally also said, "just follow Iupati." He's awesome, but we cant overuse him as the key blocker.

LOL. That's roughly how I would rank it. But I don't think Rachal is worse than Anthony Davis. AD reminds me of Kwame Harris...

He's the only guy on the line that "hits people in the mouth"

I tend to believe the ranking you have listed. The question for 2011 is where Heitmann fits into the mix, as he was the best lineman in 2009. I've got to think the Niners will stick with their main six guys, and not draft anyone else. This OL just needs some time to mature, especially at RT.
Toss Rachal out of the starting lineup, and move Baas or Heitmann to RG. We'd have a steady, reliable vet next to Davis who has experience running calls for the OL on every down. That would be huge in Davis' development.
With the reliable and versatile Wragge, Snyder and Sims, the team has 9 OL set for next year.
P.S. It was fun to see Iupati roll over guys yesterday or drag them down the field. The preseason concerns over holding were greatly exaggerated, and I thought he was a terrific pick after scouts at the Senior Bowl named him the most likely player at the game to make it to a Pro-Bowl. He is our Pro-Bowl candidate for the future.

He's my boy!!!
Love what he did last night and he just has the "IT" when pulling, too. He's getting better at getting to the second level. That eight yard TD run by Westbrook shows him hitting the hole and two defenders at that.
I hope both he and Anthony Davis become more consistent in these last five games. It would certainly help our offense to drive and score points especially on the road.
We shall see.
