With our line being pretty damn shaky is it safe to say that Mike Iupati is now our best offensive lineman? Most would say Joe Staley but he's had a subpar season and now with him being out I'd definitely say the Iupati is the best we've got. I hope we sign some veterans in the offseason though. We have too many weapons on this team to have crappy blocking year in and year out.

I say it's Iupati. You never hear his name. For a rookie, that's ballin.

I'd be happy if we brought in a veteran RG. Otherwise, I'm happy with Davis-Baas-Iaputi-Staley moving forward.

I listened to the KNBR broadcast of the game this week and they kept bringing up Baas' dominant play.

I'm saying, I'm happy with those 4. Not happy with Rachal and while Snyder has filled in decently, I don't think he's a long-term option. I say sign a veteran to help AD on the far right, and maybe invest a late pick or two for a project RG in '11 and '12 and see if any of them work out.

I liked it when they used Iupati as a decoy. They'd have him pull then they'd run the play on the opposite side and it would have success.

I'd have to say yes, but Baas is probably not far behind.
LT - Staley has been called for holding and gave up a few sacks, RG - Rachal, goes in and out of the line up due to consistency, RT - Davis has had a rough year so far.

Yea, got to like that counter play where they pull Iupati right and pitch back left. That is a new wrinkle this wekk that keeps defenders on their toes.
