When the dad-gum era ends and the Alex experiment is dead.

when we get debartolo back, seriously, i blame our front office for staffing mistakes that have lead to our downfall beginning with the firing of mooch, we havent put together a winning staff since, our talent on the field has improved, but still havent been able to win games.....in my honest opinion alex smith was ruined by our coaching staff and if we had taken rodgers, he would have the same fate as smith right now.

We have a good team. When you have a coaching and QB issues, you're not going anywhere. Sticking with Alex for 6 years is crazy, I agree.

It's funny, the Raiders drop Jack Terrier Russell (no offense dog lovers, I have a dog!)after what, three years, bring in Jason Campbell, switched again...
AZ drops Matty L and is switching it around, and we can't cut ties with A. Smith yet??? I don't get it.
You have a turnover machine with an unstable, wishy/washy HC that can't tell an X from an O without checking the film. We have our best Power Ranking for a few years if we stick with these gems.

Yup, even if you take out an abismal QB (Russull, A.Smith) and put in a decent one (S. Hill, Cambell), you start to win games. Why? Because all the dumb s**t the former two players did cause irreperable damage in those games.

i'm thinking HC, QB, and a solid CB will vastly improve this team that has a base with talent

If this same team took the field in 2011, and we had a new coach/ offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator, we would be 5-2 right now.
Give us someone creative, and fresh like Todd haley and we would be golden with the talent we already have.

week 3 of 2007
week 3 0f 2009
off season and preseason before 2010
were periods when homerism was at its highest on this forum. So many debates I remember getting into especially back in early 07 and early 09.
You had to be delusional to actually think the Niners were turning a corner.

So Hill and Campbell are decent? ... Right...
