the pass to Crabtree i coulda sworn he was wide open so if he hadnt made that pass then troy smith obviously wouldnt have been the answer

Lol you need to watch that play again. All three players. Walker and the 2 defenders broke stride and jumped for the ball. Hard to be in stride when you are jumping up with you back to the endzone.

Actually, what I said earlier was that the ball was on the money, Son. LOL. But you are right, he did have to jump for it...so he adjusted to turn around and make the catch. Now does that mean that it was not on the money? It was placed right between two defenders and only where Walker could catch it. Yes, the announcer did say that and I can see why. But I am refering to where the ball fell, not its velocity. No, I do not have a son. But I do have a 10 year old daughter and I am super proud of her accomplishments.

Troy just likes to put more air on his passes, he was leading Delanie more toward the endzone IMO. When you are Montana-like in your awareness and accuracy like Troy, he sees and feels things that we can't grasp. The guy is simply on another level. The trajectory was perfect and there was a mind-body connection between him, the ball, and Delanie. At that point, the result of the play is elementary, and the DBs in the play can only flail around in frustration as Troy executes his plan to perfection.

Watching the replay it really looks like he's directing Ginn towards the middle of the endzone and under throws it badly. Luckily Walker made huge play to get the ball.
I highly doubt this bc Ginn was on the far left endzone when the ball is released and Walker was always in the area that Smith was looking/signaling at
