I understand some of the reasoning behind the gameplan, but it was too stubborn and one-dimensional for most of the game and was terribly inflexible and uncreative when the game called for "situational adjustments." When it opened up a little in the 4th quarter it looked okay.

I gave him a C+. I understand they wanted to limit Smith in the passing game but 5 straight runs in a row.

I can't improve on that analysis.

An A, cuz he overcame Sing's directives and got a QB who wasn't allowed to practice until this week to play as well as a guy who has played for years, learning and learning...
I give the DC and A as well because I am sure Sing inserts his magic thoughts on that side of the ball as well and yet they did ok.

You don't really know how much of his play calling is over seen by the dumbest person to ever be a head coach in the NFL.

Really vanilla.... C
Didn't like the Norris FB dive and way too many draws on 3rd and 2 and then one on 3rd and 7.

Sing is the one who wanted Troy IIRC.

The play-calling in the first 3 quarters was garbage, per usual it wasn't until we lost the lead in which we put the game on Troy Smith to win it for us (and thankfully build an aggressive lead within the 4th).
