I've always said that players putting up meaningless stats for bad teams should not get rewarded.
But that's exactly what the Pro Bowl is.
actually no it is not.....in fact the Pro Bowl is mainly comprised of players from well functioning teams.
I agree with sus.....though sometimes players are really really really extraordinary and on bad teams and deserve the recognition. This season, no single Niner is playing individually extraordinary enough to shake off the stink of losing that has engulfed all of them.
Well, you can argue that one of the reasons a team is doing well, is because of those efforts by those individual players. I mean, football is a total team sport, but you can't deny the extra effort and skill one player has over another.
