LOL No, I just think it's hilarious that you swear you know something to be fact yet you have no faith in it being true. I am in Vegas though, so thats prob why I wanna bet.

I never said it was fact but it was reported that he has a job through the end of the year..Would it surprise me if he was fired? No and it would be a great move but this ownership seems stupid enough to leave him as coach

So if it wouldn't surprise you, then why lock a thread asking if other people think it'll happen? Which a good % do think so.

In my opinion we could have this merged into the fire Singletary thread...I'm not making this an attack against you I just think it could go under the Fire Singletary thread
But the thread doesn't ask if we should fire him. Nobody in their right mind thinks he should keep his job. The question is, if we lose the London game is he gone. Thats it. 2 different questions.

I'm just saying the Fire Singletary thread is for everything being related to firing Sing. I've seen people warned for starting threads like this so it was more of way of moving your thread fast and not getting into a dumb argument (even though thats what happened)
I expected him to be fired at the bye regardless of the outcome. Now that this article came out I guess we have to assume he's staying for the season.

Even if his was fired, we'd still be stuck with the same offense, defense and special teams coaches and schemes. Firing him would just add to the chaos that is this season.
if niners are losing at halftime vs broncos they should fire him, and let jed york coach the 2nd half

LOL, my vote was for Andy Lee. That dude knows whats up.
Assuming we lose (safe assumption). I think they'll run with Manusky. I figure with the bye week, if they've had any ideas about it they'll do it after this game.

Is it bad that I want Kyle Orton to pass all over us cause I have him in my fantasy league? It is for a ton of money though, and I start Gore lol.
who are they going to replace him with?

he will finish out the season, because firing him now does no good. they have no one to groom into that spot like they did with Sing after Nolan bombed out. Mike Johnson just got the promotion of his life to OC a couple weeks ago. hes years from being ready to actually coach a team.

Sing will finish out the season, and hopefully we pay up and just get a real NFL coach like Gruden....or dare i say Bill Cowher?
hopefully yes but i'm afraid that it won't happen even if we lose by a combine of blow- and a shotout.
No cuzz Jed is afraid of Sing. ARGGGGGGhhh
Fire Sing and hire Jimmy Raye as head coach. At least he can talk his way through a press conference.
I'll be surprised if it happens midseason.

So, no.

If the Yorks fire Sing and the results are still the same is it then still Sings fault?

Keep Sing till the end of the season and then what happens happens I guess. Not too bothered if he stays or goes. Everyone knows though that those turn over balls and majority of penalties arent coach eras but coach killers.
God I hope so even if we don't win. I still don't think it will happen. I'm just tired of Sing and his inability to coach. All he does is look like a fool in the sidelines yelling and screaming. I don't care who the temp. coach is anyways. We are 1-6 and we aren't going to the playoffs.

I think York will give Sing another chance with a different Qb in 2011. Just my gut feeling.
How can you trust an owner that signs a GM to a multi year contract (Terry Donahue) and then fires him within a month. During Dr. Yorks' tenure (Jed is playing house) the team can't come close to breaking ground for a new stadium. They do everything the opposite of Eddie D and the legendary Bill Walsh in the running of a franchise. They hire coaches with no experience and give them GM decision making. We had 20 great years, I hope it's not 20 more before we get back to the top. With Dr. John York running the show we've reached new depths of despair. I've read many fans on the blogs say they would help finance Eddie D's return. Count me in but he does not need the money, only a phone call that will never come.
