We have a lot more problems than that. On the other hand do you ever notice how Qbs like Aaron Rodgers make good throws while running for their life? Protection breaks down for Smith and he ends up sacked or throwing it away.

I disagree. We don't want people to be quitting this team. We need to keep spirits high, finish strong, and kick ass in 2011. God, I can't believe I'm having to write this after Week 7! This was suppose to be our year!!!!!

The only way i would like for us to start winning is if we get Nate Davis in here & he makes a dramatic impact on the team by winning out the rest of the season
if he looks very sharp the rest of the season maybe there wont be a need to get a top pick in the draft to draft a QB.

but if Smith comes back in & lead us to 3 or 4 more victories i say no thanks just dump the rest of the season to secure a top 3 pick in the draft

besides all that it wouldnt be worth it to win out anymore

Everybody who wants to tank to get Luck doesn't understand the one major flaw in their plan.

Luck is staying in school for another year.

Also, Ryan Mallet is not a QB I want either, in the most critical time during the Alabama game, he threw 2 Int's... Not somebody I want wearing our helmet.

u guys say a QB wouldnt help but i think when singletary is fired the new coach will want his chosen QB. i dont think Alex is a bad QB, i think the preparation of this team has always been the problem but a new regime will want a new QB so this is Alex last year here i think unless they keep him and draft a new QB to replace him with once he gets ready to go (like they shouldve done with Alex) i just hope the new HC and GM arent as stupid at developing QBs as these a*****es were.

So if Alex Smith's injury is that severe and he comes back and we start winning you wouldn't want that? If his injury is worse than expected and he is done for the season, Singletary feels that Troy Smith is better than Carr(lets face it we know that is the truth) and he comes in and start's winning you wouldn't want that either?

i doubt he will ever become a elite QB in the NFL
it would of happen by now if he was the real deal
