IF we get a new head coach does that mean Baalke is gone?

IMO Baalke is good and the only good guy we have in the front office. But having said that he is not a true strong GM type. He is more of a player personnel guy only. We could use a Parcells or Holmgren type to steady the ship. Of course we won't get it because Jed YORKIE says he likes the "current structure" of the front office...
I think everyone can agree that Baalke has done a good job and there's no good reason to let him go anywhere.

I sure hope you are joking. Last year, he said he had no line, well he got two new toys for it, now the excuse is that they are young? The QB has been inconsistent, but the offense playcalling has been constantly awful and predictable. The defense has disappeared this year, you just can't face a winless team and give up over 300 yards passing and 2TD's to a rookie receiver. You can't start a game strong on offense and them lay back because you are up 7 points with 3quarters to go. You need to adjust to the changes the other team is making and defense and offense and make them adjust to you. You cant have a backup that cant hit an open target. All of these and more fall on the HC.

So true, and sadly this will cement this organization as the "New Lions" for years to come.

We need an experienced Head of Football Ops first thing when this season ends.
