Gotta say it was AWESOME!! Even though we lost I still had a blast. The Carolina fans were very classy. It's so different to see the game in person. I was up in the nose bleed section but I had a great view of all the action. Just a few observations from the game.

O-line: Sucked.... Even when the stadium was quiet they were jumping off sides

D-line: ZERO pressure. They would blitz LB's and Moore would just side step them the entire game.

Secondary: Out of position the entire game. THE ENTIRE GAME. I swear I saw a WR running open every play almost.

QB: Smith will only throw the ball down field if his man is WIDE OPEN...other than that he will not risk it. Carr.....is quite possibly the worst QB I've ever seen...He has a horrendous throwing motion.

RB: Played well.. Too much focal point on Gore though..

Patrick Willis has gone missing.......

MAn I'm still pumped from my first NFL action! I want MORE

Congrats on your first game. I love going to a game or two a year, the rest spent in front of my 60" with NFL sunday ticket.

Sorry it was a loss. I was on a plane for the game today, only heard the first drive on the way to airport. I told my dad "when we pull a nice first drive, Sing gets in the OC's ear and tells him to run/run/draw/punt the rest of the game". I got off the plane, saw the score and cursed my genius.

Congrats on your first game.

I agree with everything except the comment about Willis. He had 11 tackles today if I recall. That would be his bast game of the year as far as tackles go.
Today was my first niner game as well. I drove to Carolina to watch it and was surprised by how many niner fans were actually there. The problem I saw is once we got the lead, we simply tried running the clock down even with nearly a full quarter remaining and once Carolina shut that down, it was over. I remember telling my dad just before Carolina scored that if they scored we would lose. Even on the drive that Carr threw a pick, I told him "wait for the pick or fumble, it's coming", and two plays later BOOM. We are just so good at finding ways to lose.

I did want to ask, did you see when the play clock ran out at zero before Carolina got their timeout in and the ref didn't throw the flag? I think there was a little home cooking going on in this game as well.
Too bad your first 49ers game had to be a dismal loss to an 0-5, now 1-5 team.

Dude there where a lot of 9er fans there. And there were def some questionable calls made and not made. It's funny cause the guy sitting on front of me predicted the out come. When it happened we all laughed..

Where were you sitting? I was at the top of section 503. Right in the blazing sun, I got sunburned today in freaking October! How ridiculous is that?
I was at the game today too,and I could't believe how many red jerseys were in that stadium,it was great! I know its a bummer that we lost, but I still had a blast. Our secondary needs to step it up BIG time, and our rookie O lineman anthony davis needs to stop jumping offsides and causing so many damn penalties!

Congrats bro, too bad Alex got hurt and the Niners lost. But yeah, being at a NFL game the atmosphere is awesome.

This. It's too bad the memory of your first game was tarnished by the lackluster play and a disappointing loss.

But I'm glad you had fun!

I agree.

Going to the games live is still nice even if we loose.

The way I see it for me is like a 3 day weekend vacation!
