Do we have the WORST coaching staff in the NFL ?

I'm sure Sing has handcuffed the offensive coaching staff, it appears they are carrying out his vision for the offense, Sing needs to allow Johnson and Rathman to have more say in what type of attack we will have, it doesnt make sense for a defensive minded coach to dominate the offensive game plan, and it shows on the field every week

Did you hear the post game comment from Singletary where he wanted to offense to practice as if they are playing for the kick? In other words, take no chances & punt rather than risk any turnovers.

If the Raiders didn't turn over the ball themselves a few times, this play "for the kick" offense would not be enough to win.

Wow play for a kick, whatever happened to play for a touchdown.

LOL, Sing said he wanted every possession to end with a kick, whether thats a punt, FG or kicking the extra point, in other words NO TURNOVERS.

Nothing in there about not taking chances just be smart with the ball and dont turn it over

LOL

Last week, Smith had vowed to play more fearlessly and to throw caution to the wind. That approach, however, was heavily muted as it became clear the game would be more of a defensive battle. In fact, the rallying cry was far different: Just don't commit a turnover ...

"One of the things we said going into the game was that we wanted to make sure that every possession we had offensively - that we wanted it to end with a kick. And that's something I really wanted to stress, and I think Alex got it, and that was big for him today, big for our offense."

Play for a kick meaning: Punt, Field Goal. or Extra Point(meaning TD)

I don't like the play for a punt part, your basically coming out with a failing mindset.

That's a stupid philosophy

I don't know much about the other teams coaches. But based on what Parcells once said, "You are what your record says you are", I'd say probalbly one of the worst. I really do think the fish stinks from the head down and Sing is thing. He chose his staff and maybe he micromanages them to his "smash mouth BS" philosphy too.

I like him as someone who can get some of the immature attitude players to grow up and be adults like he did w/ VD. As far as X's & O's go - he's the real problem.
i think we are pretty bad but we have been rebuilding and have recently drafted our great talent. my vote for the worst would be san diego. they have had talent for years. turner is horrible. he took over a 13-3 best record in the nfl team and they are not prepared every season. they finish 8-8 or 7-9 every year which is what we do but the expectations are not that high for us. however, bad coaching is bad coaching so i think both staffs need an overhaul.
I voted yes even though I think Manusky is decent and Johnson is decent because I think Sing is really that bad. I mean 9 players on a field goal? Punting from your 30 yard line? Seriously Sing?
Offensive Ranking: (Through Week 6)
49ers: 19th with 317.7 yards per game
Rams: 20th with 315.0 yards per game
Seahawks: 27th with 292.4 yards per game
Cardinals: 31st with 240.0 yards per game

Defensive Ranking: (Through Week 6)
49ers: 10th with 312.3 yards per game
Rams: 16th with 332.8 yards per game
Seahawks 24th with 361.2 yards per game
Cardinals: 27th with 382.0 yards per game

Hard to believe we're two games back in the division from third place...

Offensively, yes.
absolutly. no question.
No. I actually like our assistants. Manusky looks like the real deal. The unit's pretty good for lacking an elite pass-rusher, safety, AND corner. Normally good teams have an elite defensive back or pass-rusher. We have NEITHR.

Mike Johnson seems like he's creative and has a lot of potential.

Worst coaching staff? No.
Worst head coach? Starting to consider it.
