The win today was not so much against the Raiders but the Niners overcame the Niners. No turn overs today. They still have to work on the issues that interfere with the Niners. If they win the battle against the Niners they will win every other game. The Niners have been the Niners worst enemy. They have shown that they can play with the elite of the NFL. If they can play in such a manner as to not beat themselves they can win in this league.

For the humble ones, I agree with your thoughts and this win isn't something to pi** our pants about.
At the same time, I guarantee we have gained some positives from this game. Alex Smith, although having multiple passes that were off, had no INT's this game. Alex Smith had no turnovers and we won... I think I see something here
Frank Gore... I remember just yesterday, people making threads about his value and his age and what would happen if we traded him.
He won't be leaving any time soon with a performance like today.
Our defense. They played likemen. Stuffing the run, knocking down passes, getting 2 INT's. Today, we saw that high ranked niner defense that we've been looking for.
Overall, it was a good game with little mistakes (penalties) but, definitely positives came out of it and I can't wait to see what happens with CAR next week.

This was the worst way we could possibly win a game. It was like the Bears game last year, Singletary-style. He will likely come out with the same strategy now, keep the game close, don't go for the kill, and win by a field goal or two.

didnt yu guys see who we were playing? we were playing so horrible till they let smith spread it out,,why cant singletary see that smith is better in the spread! we move the ball way more effectivley
