not sure why that is so hard to understand.
because everyone wants to put all of the blame on Alex Smith. He is the reason for all the evils and wrong doings in the world.
seriously, its sad. I hope he has a great game on Sunday, but if he doesn't, I hope we just cut him so we can stop hearing so many people whine and b***h about him. I can't take it anymore.
I am to that point as well. I would much rather him succeed and be sucessful in a 49er uniform for many years to come, but jeebus Cryst some of these fans cry more than babies. Ohh the defense allowed 24 pts, oh it's Alex's fault. Oh my girlfriend said I have a small penis and is sleeping with the entire neighborhood, oh it's Alex's fault. The economy is s**t and I haven't worked in 6 months, I'm losing my house, my car has been repossessed and my dog died, oh it's Alex's fault. Football is a team sport and it takes a team to win and a team to lose.
to be fair, Alex's favorite hobby is mutilating stranger's dogs, so people do have a point there.
but yeah. one of the things that got me excited about this season (before it started-lol) was the fact that this was the once-and-for-all last chance for Smith, that we would know for sure if he could be "the guy." I thought it was risky to go "all-in" on him, especially with McNabb available, but I really did think that he would rise to the occasion and have a good year. But the fact is that WE ALL knew that this year was his last chance and that we were sink or swim with him, so its hard to understand why people are being so hysterical about it. He'll either earn a chance to stay here or he won't. What the hell is the point in crying about it every day?
