ESPN still favoring us BIG over DAA Raiiiderrrsss..

I would think after 0-5, and dissapointing week in week out they would just start to pick against us.. I guess its NOT just the team and the fans that expect us to turn it around and they KNOW we are better than how we are playing..

Interesting.. your thoughts

This is purely a reflection of how bad our division is, not how good they think we really are.
Experts were originally predicting we'd win between 9-10 games and take the division. Now there's talk that we'll be the first team to win 7 games and the division which I highly doubt.

We have zero momentum and no answers to our problems. How can they possibly predict even one win much less a division championship?

When did the Raitards land in our Division?

ESPN is favoring us over them. That's the quandry. I think we CAN win this game but for the life of me I do not know how they picked us to Win when we're 0-5.

We made so many mistakes in every aspect of the game and still only lost by 3 points or less to the saints, eagles, and falcons. Three very good teams.

Now that we made the necessary changes(fire raye, start mays and hopefully start bowman). I think we will win at least 9 of our remaining 11 games.

The way I see it is we got our losing streak out of the way early and now it's time to start kicking some ass. There's no way this team is going to continue to play as shi**y as they have been and that includes smith.

With our remaing schedule looking less grim, I still say we go 9-7 or better.

In my mind we are so very close ------ we just need to end the mistakes and turnovers and maybe even get some take aways from our opponents.

GO NINER'S

This.

That and we have to Defense the Screen better because otherwise it leads to yards in our Opponent's ground game.

We may have lucked out somewhat because I don't believe Oakland uses the Screen. However they may try it a lot this weekend to get McFadden running downhill. And ABF needs to step his game up. I told you all I didn't want that guy to sign the Franchise tender. I only hope he doesn't get injured because he wasn't in Football shape.

Still, why were we picked againg

everybody is as shocked as we are that we are 0-5 and noW it's desperation time so they're expecting us to swing for the fences so we can get this monkey off our back.

Don't forget the Chiefs. WE got beat by FOUR very good teams. As far as I am concerned they and the Boltz flipped rungs on their Division ladder with the Boltz loss to the Raitards. At least until it gets proven otherwise in their games.

I think that we can do 9-7 but we better start layin into teams with this Offense or our Defense won't be able to keep us in the game. At least our Offense when working properly can kill clock time. Look at our average ToP against our 5 losses. If we don't give up the ball except by Punt or Kickoff, we can win some games. Not one of our critics even mentions how much time this team holds the ball on Offense per game. It's insane to think that we've held the ball nearly 40 minutes a game on average.

We don't suck we just like giving teams an out it seems.

once these mistakes are cleaned up, hopefully this Sunday, this will look like a completely different team, I'm really excited to see if our offense attacks like Johnson said. It seems he's been given a lot more control after last Sundays game.

I'll be there to see it for myself.

I am excited to see if the offense will be more aggressive and imaginative with fewer runs on 1st down or at least a better mix of pass and run on first down.

Id like to see Alex doing more bootlegs but he needs a little bit more time because ginn gets a lot of seperation from the DBs and he's probably going to be going up against Stanford rout who gives up a lot of big plays.
we lose and raiders win, but we're still favored by a touchdown
http://smftalk.com/1_NFCWEST.html

is that a trick or do they really think the raiders are going to go back to sucking after a win?

I'm not sure how many times we played campbell in the past, but we beat the redskins a couple of years ago with campbell in there.
http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/2008122815/2008/REG17/redskins@49ers#tab:analyze/analyze-channels:cat-post-boxscore

do we have campbells number?
lol... You know what I could see happening which would be just sad? If we do win the west with 7 wins, and after season the league creates a rule that if you win your division with a losing record, you don't make the playoffs, instead another team with a better record takes another wild card spot. It would be forever called the "Niner Rule" unofficially.

The Raiders kind of sucked in both of their wins. We're a MUCH better team. They are going to have to luck into multiple fluke-like turnovers like they did against San Diego on Sunday to beat the 49ers.
and they call themselves, experts lol

You march yourself into the bathroom right this minute and wash your mouth out with a bar of Lava soap right this second young man.

I would have you wash your brain out for putting the jinx on us, but mouth is gonna have to do.

We are -10 over the last 5 games.Do not tempt the Football gods if you know what's good for our team.
