This I agree with!

I honestly think the running game has vanished. Now I'm not a rocket scientist but I believe it is because we always start a game with a ton of running. Maybe they ought to start the game throwing. Throw A LOT! Throw until Alex has tendonitis. And then run the ball.

Pass to set up the run? Didn't the Niners once have a coach who developed some sort of system based on that approach?

it doesn't even have to be an offensive system man....just a philosophy. Take that from the WCO. Just the philosophy. We got pass plays....use em first.

even tho we drove down on our first drives in 2 games it was grind it out type drives. They ought to just play those intermediate and deep routes they were doing in the end of the previous games. hit vernon and crabs deep early. back that D up.

Play action on the first offensive play. If the Raiders have done due diligence on the Niners they will be stunned and it would be an easy six. The sad thing is that we all would be stunned.

Whoa there...whoa there...running game hasn't opened to that kind of creativity.

it's not like our run game strikes fear in any defenses eyes. The offense needs to come out in the shotgun and spread the defense out.

Alex Smith has never built on a good game, why should he start now? And if you thought the game he played against Philly was good, you must have been getting beers when he committed his 3 turnovers.

That fumble is unforgivable. We all know it. He knows it. But the first int....that s**t happens. To all qb's. the last one....point the finger directly at A. Davis. Don't believe me. rewatch the play on nfl.com.

yea I think it was by some bum coach named Bill Walsh or something like that.

Yeah, I think they named Candlestick field after that guy; didn't they?

Alex played a hell of a game Sunday besides the INT and the fumble. He lead receivers and had spectacular timing on his throws. Crabtree was one of my big concerns coming into this game but he put up a 100-yard game and looked like the number one overall that we drafted a year ago. If Smith plays all game like he did the last 10 minutes of the game we are going to see the elite QB that we drafted back in 2005. The only thing that could stop this break through is if Sing keeps on with his conservative smash mouth football that has never worked for this team. I say screw the doubters and out with the haters! If at nothing else we will finally see what really has in him.

your kidding me right. Another closet smith lover. YOu 2 belong together .Get a grip zoner. THe only reason smith looked good is because philadelphia was in prevent up 17 or 14 whatever it was. Did you see how when pressure was in his face he choked again. He sucks DONT YOU GET IT. Inflated stats just like last year when they were down a bunch in games and smith made these little comebacks and padded his stats when teams were sitting back. ITS OVER FOR HIM< THE COAC< THE OC< THE DC. COMPLETE BLOW UP AND REBUILD.
