Alex played a hell of a game Sunday besides the INT and the fumble. He lead receivers and had spectacular timing on his throws. Crabtree was one of my big concerns coming into this game but he put up a 100-yard game and looked like the number one overall that we drafted a year ago. If Smith plays all game like he did the last 10 minutes of the game we are going to see the elite QB that we drafted back in 2005. The only thing that could stop this break through is if Sing keeps on with his conservative smash mouth football that has never worked for this team. I say screw the doubters and out with the haters! If at nothing else we will finally see what really has in him.

For the 6th year now, I hope he can build on this and have 4 mistake-free quarters.
This Offense isn't going to build on anything if we come out with Gore up the middle again and again. We have the most momentum-killing coaches in the league.

Play action on the first offensive play. If the Raiders have done due diligence on the Niners they will be stunned and it would be an easy six. The sad thing is that we all would be stunned.
our coaches refuse to see that what works for our offense is putting Smith in the shotgun and letting him air it out. Gore is averaging a measly 3 yards per carry. Anyone know what 3x3=? PUNT!!
preseason champs turned real-deal chumps!

alexis is weak.

we need to cut off the bell cow's (franchesca gorey) ankles. she is no longer any good... chop off all of HER limbs.. the bell cow fumbles too much!

grandma in a hoveround can run circles around members in our secondary!

the o-line still wears huggies!!!!!

singletary has a gross fetish for alexis and it's making me sick to my stomach!!!

PS: SHAUN HILL (the ugly woman i voted out in favor for ALEXIS) WON WITH THE LIONS SUNDAY!!!!!!

DETROIT LIONS, YOU HAVE COMPANY...... 0-16 HERE WE COME!!!!!!
He always look great in pre-season and garbage time.

I honestly think the running game has vanished. Now I'm not a rocket scientist but I believe it is because we always start a game with a ton of running. Maybe they ought to start the game throwing. Throw A LOT! Throw until Alex has tendonitis. And then run the ball.

While I'm not excited and Smith needs to show the remainder of the year that at least 70% of the time for full games that he can play that way,
can we get please get this straight. This is his forth season playing any real time during the season. You can't really learn to play until you get on the field. Watching film and such only goes so far. So while he has been here 5 years, this is his 6th season with the team and not his 6th season playing. If that were the case we should have rode the whole front office out on a rail two years ago. I'm only pulling for him because I don't want to waste that 1st round draft pick, but he still has to prove he has it (I seriously doubt he does) so the draft will get us a real QB if we need one like many of us believe.

Pass to set up the run? Didn't the Niners once have a coach who developed some sort of system based on that approach?
Not that I care that much, but......

Someone please help me understand how a new "Trade Frank Gore" thread gets locked, but this closet Alex Smith thread is still up and running?

Very bizzare happenings around these parts lately.

yea I think it was by some bum coach named Bill Walsh or something like that.
The words Alex Smith and elite quarterback do not belong in the same sentence, let alone same paragraph.
