i am a die hard 49er but my question is why are the we not properly train team . if you notice in all of our losses we kill our selves with turnovers , is it a question of lack of detail in practice because as a team we make a lot of bonehead mistakes in the game ,

Singletary, coaching, and skill shouldn't be used in the same sentence.

Yes it can. Look.
"Singletary has no coaching skill."

He wears a stop watch around his neck during games. That's all I can think of.

Singletary's coaching ability stops at "we will review the film and continue to move forward"

Saw an interview on CBS this week, I think 49ers preview this past Saturday evening, where he was asked this exact question by Kim Coyle. You guys wouldn't have liked his answer. I wish I hadn't deleted it or that I could remember exactly what he said, but his reply was along the lines of his best skill was being able to select and surround himself with extremely smart and successful staff (coordinators).
It was something really absurd, especially after he had just fired Raye.
If someone has the recording, please correct me.

LOL, this is hilarious considering Manusky was a Nolan hire, and so was Rathman. Also, Solari basically fell into his lap. Raye was so good he had to fire him 3 weeks into the season after spending THE ENTIRE OFFSEASON implementing his playbook. LOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLZ. People can whine about Alex, the Oline, the Defense, but Singletary is the biggest problem on this team, period. If they removed him NOW, the team would be a lot better off.

His style is clueless....that is his style. Clueless.
Thank God he hasnt used timeouts, to slow down the other team like he did last year, numerous times....like basketball to stop a run. God that was just plain horrible.

Don't tell me, show me! And that's about it. What I don't understand is how you can play pro football for all of the years he did and become and HOF'r without understanding X's and O's. He must not be that bright to begin with. And they say Nate Davis has a learning disability.
Generally speaking, what I've found in life is that people who constantly yell, scream, or run their mouth all of the time without saying anything the least bit quantitative given a particular subject are covering up for the fact that they really don't know what they're doing. In this case, coaching an NFL football team.
Remember, the "I'll just keep pushing buttons until I find the answer" quote. I think Singletary's run out of buttons.

He pretty much said his best coaching skill was being able to surround himself with talented people that know more then he does.

Forward is just like tomorrow. It never comes! As won't the rise of the Phoenix!
