Thanks for sharing Norcal , I love the passion that Takeo Spikes has for the game. I also respect the fact that he wears his Atlanta Braves cap as proudly as I wear the Giants cap. Fans for life.

Are you referring to our bright red faces? Cause man, did we regret not wearing sun screen! Our ladies were on us about putting it on and we already had a few chelas so we though we'd toughen up. Yeah, bad idea.

First time I stay there for a game, but I stay there often for work when I have to travel to the bay area. I was actually shooting the s**t with a bartender the last time I was there and he's the one who told me about it. He was telling me freaking stories of the great ones like Rice and Montana and how he'd keep the signed receipts as memorabilia. I'm definitely staying more often in the future though.

What Marriott were you at? I stayed at the San Mateo Marriott. Why do the Niners stay in a hotel when they are at home. Figured they would just stay in their own house and drive to the game in their own vehicle.

San Francisco Airport Mariott. Not sure why, I think its odd too. Go back a couple of pages and read Zozell's experience from last year. It sounds like they have pre-game and post-game meetings while at the hotel.
