It is just as disgusting when Montana sports anything Steeler related.

Montana played for the Niners so seeing him wear Steelers gear (I have actually never seen this) is different than if he had a Pirate hat on (which is a rare thing to see.) Different sport. Can't fault a guy for rooting for his childhood team as long as that team is not in competition with the team he plays professionally for. I have often seen Brady with a Giants hat on but I have never seen him wear anything 49er related though his family was season ticket holders throughout his childhood. If Spikes had Falcons gear on it would be different than wearing a Braves cap.

good job man....yeah Takeo looked real disappointed after the game...

I think he sees the writing on the wall...even though it seems he is playing the best ball of his career late in his career...the team drafted his replacement.

I just think he is really disappointed because he felt we had very good chance at making the playoffs...and this might be his only opportunity to get there if doesn't somehow get with a playoff type team next year.

I feel bad for the guy and the other players who are trying to play at a high level. Sing did not have a backup plan...Sing put the all his eggs in on basket. He didn't have a backup plan, if Alex struggled. And like I said in the beginning of the season that was selfish on Sing's part and not fair to the whole team, coaches, fans...etc.

Unfortunately, they are all demoralized. They'll still fight in games, but they'll be empty shells. Sad really. There needs to be change to reverse this mentality.

The only real solution here for healing is to fire both Singletary and Alex Smith. Once this happens, hope for a better future will begin.

"empty shells" is exactly what I'm afraid they will turn into and it's why I decided to write my experience. They say they aren't there yet, but their demeanor is beginning to show otherwise.
