Plain and simple if you think he is the sole reason for our losses youll say yes and who. If not youll say no! I am a smith supporter. And he did show fight after almost being benched. But, has not played well along with the rest of the team. And was the loss solely his fault last night.... Hell NO! So big question you want to bench him, who do you put in. As Eric davis also said to Lorenzo Neil on 49ers central with complete shock of neils choice of yes bench him. The way he said who it was obvious Davis has no faith in any back up we have. So, IMO and Eric Davis's opinion there is no one else on our roster that could help us more than smith. This does not mean smith is good or great it just means he is our best option. Now as for T. Smith he is unknown, heisman with feet that never had a shot yet. Carr same as smith with imo less of an arm. So my vote is obviously smith through the season. If he gets consistent great if not his contract is up!
