Has he finally arrived?

Bull crap! He is responsible for the throw. If he's gonna get hit it's on him to duck under and reset. It's done, Alex is done in sf.

Why even suggest to do something if you didn't even see it happen? Yeah, he's responsible for the throw. And guess who's responsible for giving him the proper time to make the throw? The O-line. In which A.Davis got f**king burned on that play and Alex got hit in the middle of his throw. Give me a f**king break. Even Favre makes mistakes... In fact he made way more in the Jets game than Alex did in Philly. It's people like you who say Smith should be fired and benched just for not being absolutely perfect.

He doesn't have to be perfect or anything near. He just has to win, and it's not happening. I have been rooting for him for 6 years... That's long enough

Regardless of what you've seen the past 6 years (technically 3 seasons) you did NOT watch that particular play that you criticized. Please watch the replay. And if your response to it doesn't change than you're either just using your bias over logic or you're completely blind.
arrived in the dog house? Almost?

Yes. Singletary finally got through to him. It took 6 years, but the talent has finally come out. Alex Smith will now make us the dynasty of the 2010s, lead us to 5 SB victories, and will make the next 8 probowls. And all it took was a good ole fashion chewing out by his head coach.

Who knew ?

You guys still on the Alex Smith bandwagon are delusional. Remember the second half against Atlanta last year? He played great, then what did he do after that? Enough of Alex Smith, he needs to go. Draft A QB in 2011, and get a serviceable veteran in the meantime, and send Alex packing.
lol, people are still blaming Alex for this team being 0-5? Some of you need to watch more football.

I agree. For starters, Id suggest you watch some Packers, Falcons, and Jets game. All have players that took LESS than 6 years to emerge as stars. Good luck.

I guess you missed his fumble being returned for a touchdown, and the game ending pick he threw when we were almost in range for a game tying field goal. You need to watch the WHOLE game. I think you are getting up for another beer too many times. A lot of Alex lovers blame his picks on poor protection, most of those are after he held the ball too long and a defender finally shed his block.

with our coaching staff..haha sh*t i'd take more than 6 years.
It seems Alex is more fear-less when he plays out of the hurry-up (when the game is on the line), and sucks during the 2nd/3rd quarter stretch.

We need to just let Alex do what makes him feel comfy and run the hurry-up spread on every series ala' Peyton Manning. (Make Alex think every play is his last.)
