Question about the Seahawks game when the niners came out onto the field

I've been wondering this for weeks. Just haven't really asked. How come the team came out of the tunnel like this? Never seen them do that before. Just curious, thanks!

Same reason the Saints and Packers did the 1 finger in the air opening night

It is a symbol of unity and an all for 1 attitude in response to the NFLPA negotiations and a possible player strike

Lockout not strike...the owners are the ones pushing this issue. They opted out of the current agreement with the union

Hmm. I figure it had to do with something like that. But wasn't sure. Appreciate the response. Is this just your guess or is it a fact?

Educated guess because I don't have an exact quote to give you saying "we did this because"

Most teams in Week 1 did some type of solidarity gesture. This was our take on it.

I remember a few comments about it from 49ers players but I can't remember where I saw it to give you a link right now and I'm not concerned enough to go hunting for it.
